Any sport requires a degree of flexibility and no other sport holds this saying as true as in golf. Stretching is critical to reduce the potential for injury to shoulders, back, arms and knees. There in lies the statement from “Ben Hogan: Five Lessons-The Modern Fundamentals of Golf”.

The proper stance and posture enable a golfer to be perfectly balanced and poised throughout the swing. Only then will his legs, arms and body be able to carry out their interrelated assignments correctly

Anytime your body engages in motion it’s using muscles. Stretching and exercising these muscles is part of my teaching program.
